Often times researchers need to conduct their experiments using very small tissue sample amounts. We help make it possible for these researchers to utilize the same powerful genomic data as other scientists. We know small amounts of sample are valuable, and we work to ensure that our customers get the most information possible from their starting material.
For LCM- and FACS-collected cells, GenUs uses Arcturus RiboAmp® RNA Amplification technologies to generate enough RNA to run bioarray experiments on GE Healthcare CodeLink bioarrays. The RiboAmp® HS RNA Amplification Kit allows researchers to perform microarray studies using total RNA from as few as ten cells. This ultra-high-sensitivity kit is one hundred-times more sensitive than other linear amplification methods. RNA samples are amplified up to ten-million-fold in two amplifications, enabling microarray hybridization experiments from as little as 100 picograms of total RNA (about ten cells).

Scatterplot analysis of genes present (11,008 genes, 55% of all genes) from replicate biotinylated cRNAs generated from <1ng of total RNA. Through careful amplification, we are able to run accurate and reproducible bioarray experiments.
